Lord Roberts on the Green
On 20th April 2022 The Lord Roberts on the Green changed ownership to Ghazala Akhtar. It has gone from strength to strength.. Ghazala's vision of The Lord Roberts becoming the heart of the community is slowly being realised. Supporting the community in diverse ways.
Originally established and set up by Laura Hamilton & Alex Goward in April 2017, Lord Roberts on The Green is based on The Webb Estate in Purley. An independent Restaurant and Coffee Shop offering breakfast , lunch and now open in the evenings for Lebanese as well, LROTG is very much the heart of the community,with our doors open to welcome everyone.

Breakfast, Lunch, Sunday Brunch, Smoothies, Milkshakes & Delicious Desserts with Vegan & Gluten Free options are all on offer.
LROTG is a popular venue for Weddings, Baby Showers & Special Birthdays. Should you wish to make a booking for a private hire or to host an event, please email us.

Happy Cow
What a lovely gem hidden away by a village green. Very friendly and chatty staff. There are vegan items on the menu and also a selection of vegan bakery items. The place itself is cosy with tables both inside and out and plenty of parking. Wouldn't hesitate to go again, loved everything about it.
